Vinales expects to use new Suzuki chassis at Assen
Maverick Vinales expects to use a revised Suzuki chassis for the next MotoGP race at Assen following a successful post-race test with the new frame at Barcelona. Vinales ended up third on the timesheets on Monday after performing comparisons between the standard GSX-RR frame and the 'evolution' version that was trialled by both Suzuki riders in a private test at Valencia last month. Speaking to media afterwards, Vinales declared himself satisfied with the behaviour of the modified chassis, having deemed it "too risky" to use it during the Catalunya race weekend itself.
