Dismal start cost me victory - Iannone
Andrea Iannone believes that he had a chance to win Sunday's race at Mugello had he not made a dismal start. The Ducati rider began the race on the front row, but was slow off the line and found himself in 12th place by the end of the first lap. While he bounced back from his sluggish start to finish in third, Iannone felt that his slow start cost him the chance to win his maiden MotoGP race. "I'm very happy because it's very important for us, especially in this place," Iannone told reporters. "I'm very disappointed about my start, it was very bad and after the first lap I was in 12th.
