Iannone surges clear in second practice
– Andrea Iannone flew to the top of the times during the second practice session for his and Ducati's home race at Mugello this weekend.Iannone, who will switch to Suzuki next season, surged to the front with a lap of 1:47.696 during the closing stages, 0.461s faster than reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo.Michele Pirro ensured two Ducati riders finished inside the top three, ahead of Suzuki's Aleix Espargaró and Honda rider Marc Márquez.Valentino Rossi edged out future team-mate Maverick Viñales by just 0.005s to take sixth spot, while Britons Scott Redding and Cal Crutchlow were eighth and ninth.Pol Espargaró rounded out the top 10 for Tech 3.Dani Pedrosa was a lowly 11th...
