Redding ready to play Ducati waiting game at Pramac
Scott Redding says he is prepared to sign a new deal to remain at the Pramac Ducati team if a factory seat with the Italian manufacturer isn’t available for 2017. The Briton switched from the Marc VDS Honda squad to Pramac over the winter with the self-confessed aim of securing a promotion to the works Ducati line-up after a season on the satellite bike. However, Jorge Lorenzo’s recently confirmed move from Yamaha to Ducati means there is now only one spot open on the Borgo Panigale marque’s 2017 roster, and the team has expressed a preference of keeping hold of one of its existing riders – Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone – next season.
