Moto3: Untouchable Kent holds on to pole after spill

Danny Kent continued to dominate in Germany in the Moto3 Grand Prix qualifying session at the Sachsenring with his fastest lap standing for an incredible 15 minutes after the British championship leader hit the gravel. The Leopard Racing rider was just a viewer after a rare error saw him crash after moving underneath Max Kappler in an attempt to maintain his line. Kent, who has topped every pre-race session, had already done enough to secure the top spot after completing just nine laps in the qualifying session, smashing the lap record after just nine minutes before lowering it further to 1m 26.420 immediately before his spill.
