Crutchlow aiming to build momentum
Cal Crutchlow hopes to build on the momentum of his sixth place finish at Assen this weekend at the Sachsenring, which ended a run of three DNFs for CWM LCR Honda rider in June. Crutchlow clinched a terrific runner-up finish at the German circuit behind Marc Marquez in 2013 on the Tech 3 Yamaha and is keen to put the RC213V through its paces at a venue where the Honda has excelled in recent seasons. “Assen was not a bad race and to finish sixth, I was quite happy with it after three bad races to be honest,” said the British rider. “The CWM LCR Honda team seemed to do a good job in Assen.
