Michael Laverty relishing' Aprilia opportunity
Michael Laverty will make his race debut on factory MotoGP machinery at this weekend's German MotoGP. The Northern Irishman spent two seasons on uncompetitive CRT/Open class bikes at PBM, but now gets his chance to race for the official Aprilia team in place of Marco Melandri. Although he switched back to BSB this season, Laverty has remained involved in MotoGP as an Aprilia test rider. “I'm excited to be back on the MotoGP grid this weekend of the German GP.
