Moto2: Rabat targets podium despite broken collarbone!
Reigning Moto2 champion Tito Rabat is hoping to end his Sachsenring podium drought this weekend - despite undergoing surgery on a fractured collarbone just three days ago! The Marc VDS Kalex rider fell heavily while training at Almeria on Saturday, sustaining a fractured right clavicle for which he required an operation to insert a titanium plate. Rabat was discharged from hospital on Monday morning and immediately started preparing for this weekend's race, the last before the four-week summer break. While the twisty Sachsenring is a physically demanding track, there are few hard braking areas and he remains confident that the injury will not be a significant factor as he chases his first...
