Qualifying the Priority for Rossi at Assen
Valentino Rossi acknowledges that he needs to improve his qualifying performances if he is to have any chance of retaining his championship lead this weekend at Assen. The Movistar Yamaha rider has qualified on the third row five times in seven races this season and although he has a good record at Assen, Rossi admits he cannot allow Jorge Lorenzo another head start on Saturday. “Assen will be another very intense weekend.
