India set to host World Superbike race in 2017

India's Buddh International Circuit is set to host the World Superbike Championship race in the year 2017. While there is no guarantee Formula 1 will return to India, according to Jaypee Sports International chief Sameer Gaur, the two-wheeler championship will make its debut at BIC in 2017. “We have signed the contract with WSBK for the race in 2017. We are contractually bound to host the race,” Gaur told Press Trust of India.
