The final day of 2022 MotoGP pre-season testing is underway at Mandalika, Indonesia. Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda) and then Luca Marini (VR46 Ducati) were fastest on the opening two days, when the best lap time dropped from a 1m 32.466s to a 1m 31.289s as more rubber was laid down on the dusty track. That trend has already continued on Sunday morning, with Espargaro and the new Honda setting the best lap time of the test so far in the opening hour. Testing at Mandalika takes place from 9am to 5pm, followed by practice starts. The next time MotoGP bikes will be on track is for the Qatar season-opener on March 4-6.
