Marc Marquez cleared to make MotoGP return ahead of Portimao

Doctors have finally given the go ahead for eight-time world champion Marc Marquez to return to MotoGP action, for the first time since last July, following his latest medical check. No mention is made of next weekend's Portimao round is made, but it is assumed Marquez will now be on track for round there of the season on Friday. After testing an RC213V-S production bike twice last month, it seemed Marquez was set to return for the Qatar season openers. However, doctors concluded his troublesome right-arm fracture was still not ready.
