Aleix Espargaro admitted he was 'surprised' by the performance of Suzuki's GSX-RR at Sepang after finishing fourth fastest on Monday. The Spanish rider lapped in 2m 01.055s to finish 0.641s behind pacesetter Valentino Rossi, completing a total of 50 laps.
