Nakagami takes first career pole in Alcaniz GP qualifying, Rins to start from front-row

Japanese LCR Honda rider Takaaki Nakagami took his first ever pole position for the Alcaniz GP, pipping both last weekend's race winner Alex Rins and the SRT of Franco Morbidelli on his last flying lap. The number 30 rider put in a lap time of 1:46.882 just as the clock ran out, a time that was six-tenths faster than the second place rider of Morbidelli. Aragon GP winner Alex Rins will start from third on the grid for tomorrow's race, after making way for the Honda and Yamaha pilots. The second qualifying session proved to be tightly-nit with riders such as the Avintia Ducati of Johann Zarco, and factory Yamaha of Maverick Viñales lighting up the red sector indicators on their fastest...
