Finland's MotoGP return postponed due to coronavirus

Finland's return to the MotoGP calendar has been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has halted sport globally for the foreseeable future. Finland had been set to host its first premier class motorcycle event since 1981 at the newly constructed KymiRing on July 12 as the opening round on a revised calendar following the postponement of several earlier races, including the cancelled season-opening Qatar round. 'The decision to postpone the Finnish MotoGP race is made by Dorna Sports, which owns rights of the competition,' a brief statement issued by the organisers said.
