KTM hands Miguel Oliveira second year with Tech3
KTM has confirmed it has extended its deal with Miguel Oliveira to cover the 2020 MotoGP season, when he will once again campaign with Tech3. Last year's Moto2 championship runner-up has stepped up to the premier class with the factory KTM-backed KTM outfit for 2019, and has so far impressed aboard the RC16. Oliveira sits 16th in the standings with 11th and 14th-place finishes from the Argentina and Americas Grands Prix, where he was also second-best KTM runner behind factory team rider Pol Espargaro. His 2020 deal was first rumoured by Germany's Speedweek on Tuesday, though Oliveira moved to deny these reports on the eve of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend....
