Qatar MotoGP test: Rins takes charge on second day
Ecstar Suzuki’s Alex Rins proved his performance at the previous Sepang tests was no fluke as he topped the timesheets on day two of MotoGP testing at Losail, Qatar, today. The youngster was well inside Jorge Lorenzo’s three-year-old lap record of 1’54.927, setting a 1’54.593 to lead yesterday’s fastest man Maverick Vinales by 0.057s. Rookie Fabio Quartararo caused a sensation with his laptime aboard the Petronas Yamaha, posting the third quickest time, a 1’54.908 on his 46th lap of 54. More in a minute Click here for times
