MotoGP Valencia: We improved quite a lot in the wet - Vinales

Australian MotoGP race winner Maverick Vinales said that he improved a lot after a raining first day of free practice in Valencia. The Spaniard ended the final Friday of 2018 seventh fastest, just under a second and a half behind pace setter Pramac Ducati’s Danilo Petrucci. Vinales described his first ten minutes of FP1 was a nightmare, but was happy with the progress he made through the day. “The first ten minutes of FP1 was like a nightmare,” said the 23-year-old. “I couldn’t even stay on the bike but we improved quite a lot in the wet.
