MotoGP Phillip Island: Zarco apologises to Marquez for crash

Johann Zarco has apologised to MotoGP World Champion after ending Marc Marquez’s Australian race, rear-ending the Spaniard’s RC213V in Phillip Island. The Frenchman was caught out at the end of the Gardener Straight, with nowhere to go, the Frenchman’s satellite M1 reared into the back of Marquez, leaving both riders race run. Race direction decided not to take action, with both riders calling it a racing incident. Despite it being deemed accidental by all, Zarco felt obliged to apologise to Marquez. “I went to him to say sorry because I totally destroyed the back of his bike,” said the Frenchman who was lucky to walk away unharmed after jumping off his bike at 280 kph. “He...
