MotoGP Misano: Bagnaia extends Moto2 championship lead with home win

Pecco Bagnaia extended his lead atop the Moto2 World Championship with a dominant display at his home Grand Prix in Misano. Starting from the pole position, the Italian got the whole shot and quickly starting pulling away from the field. Within three laps he was a couple of seconds clear of second placed Mattia Pasini. As the race went on, Bagnaia’s metronomic style helped him pull away and claim his sixth win of the season. Behind the runaway leader, Miguel Oliveira fought through and worked his way up to second position with eight laps to go.
