Five-round calendar announced for inaugural MotoE campaign

A five-round calendar has been announced by the FIM and Dorna for the inaugural MotoE World Cup, which is due to kick off next year during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend on May 5. The fully electric MotoE World Cup series was officially launched at an event earlier in the year, and has been in the works by Dorna and the FIM for some time.  Billed as the first steps in developing a sustainable all-electric motorcycle championship, MotoE is being run in conjunction with MotoGP to boost its exposure.  The calendar for the inaugural season in 2019 will consist of five events in Europe, beginning at Jerez on May 5 before moving to Le Mans in France two weeks later.  The third...
