Pol Espargaro hospitalised after warm-up crash

KTM rider Pol Espargaro has been taken to hospital in Brno after suffering a heavy fall during this morning's warm-up session for the MotoGP Czech Grand Prix.  Espargaro crashed at Turn 3 in the closing stages of the 20-minute session on Sunday morning, and was attended to trackside by the marshals.  The Spaniard was taken to the medical centre for precautionary checks, and has now been transferred to a local hospital for further tests on a suspected broken collarbone.  Espargaro ended the warm-up session in 21st, and is due to start the race from 19th, with KTM teammate Bradley Smith 15th.  This comes just weeks after brother Aleix crashed heavily during warm-up...
