MotoGP Brno: Broken ribs holding Guintoli back

Two broken ribs sustained at the Suzuka 8 Hours is holding back Sylvain Guintoli during his MotoGP wild card appearance at Brno. The Frenchman who is taking part in this weekends MotoGP race as a wildcard entry due to being Suzuki’s official test rider found himself in a lot of pain after yesterdays free practice sessions. Guintoli revealed that he suffered two broken ribs whilst part of the Yoshimura Suzuki team in Japan. 'Unfortunately I crashed in the Suzuka 8 Hours last weekend and pain has been quite bad,' Guintoli revealed. “I did an x-ray at lunchtime today and I got two broken ribs so now I know why I am in pain.
