MotoGP Germany: Martin extends Moto3 Championship lead with German masterclass

Jorge Martin extended his lead atop the Moto3 World Championship standings with yet another flawless performance, winning the German race from Marco Bezzecchi and John McPhee at the Sachsenring. Starting from pole position, Martin come into the race two points ahead of Bezzecchi and many had expected the Spaniard to build on his championship lead, however he didn’t have it all his own way. The short, tight nature of the German circuit meant that at the half way point there was a leading group of 18 riders, however, when tyres started to come into play, Martin started pulling away from the field.
