MotoGP Germany: Jorge Martin flies to sixth Moto3 pole of 2018

Jorge Martin claimed his sixth pole position of the season at the Sachsenring this afternoon as the Spaniard looks to assert his dominance on the Moto3 World Championship. Leading the session early, Martin continued to work on his own and put the fastest lap of the early runs. After a lull in the middle of the 40-minute session Martin came back out and went even faster. Slipstreaming behind Alonso Lopez, Martin fought through Oettl and Kornfiel who were both going slow on the racing line to further improve his lap time and ultimately claim the pole with a 1:26.434.
