Zarco's M1 riding style doesn't work for Vinales
Movistar Yamaha’s Maverick Vinales tried to emulate Johann Zarco’s riding style during the MotoGP test at Barcelona but says that because they ride different specification M1s, it doesn’t work. Vinales has been suffering at the start of races as a full fuel tank is upsetting the front geometry, so he tried taking weight off the front by sitting back in the seat but to no avail. “I just to sit a little bit more back, because when I was riding with Johann, the riding style is a little bit different, I tried to be a little bit like his style,” said Vinales, speaking after the test. “But finally it upsets a lot the bike, it’s two different bikes.
