Rabat hospitalised after fiery Barcelona test crash

Avintia Ducati MotoGP rider Tito Rabat has been taken to hospital after suffering a major crash during Wednesday's Michelin tyre test at Barcelona. Rabat suffered a low-side fall at the final corner of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya during the morning, with his GP17 Ducati bursting into flames as it rolled through the gravel trap. The final corner is now taken at higher speed following the restoration of the previous corner, what used to be known as Turn 12, for MotoGP races after a new chicane was put in place for last year's race.
