Redding "risked life for nothing" in dismal qualifying

Aprilia's Scott Redding feels he was risking his life "for nothing” during MotoGP's qualifying at Jerez, after problems with traction on his RS-GP relegated him to last place. Redding was 10th fastest in Friday's first practice session, but dramatically slid to 24th in the hotter second outing. The Aprilia rider once again struggled for pace on Saturday, blaming this on a complete lack of rear traction, which only worsened when he had to push in qualifying. Redding is at a loss as to why he is encountering this issue, and feels he is “wasting” his time on the bike. “I don't know, just no grip again, no rear grip, we spin and spin and spin and spin,” Redding said when asked...
