MotoGP Austin: Rain spoils third-practice time attack
A rain shower with ten minutes of the third Austin MotoGP free practice to go put paid to the usual time attack laps so there was very little change in terms of which riders will go through to qualifying two by right. Only Johann Zarco and Andrea Dovizioso - who is using the big GP18 aero package - made any strides in the session while Marc Marquez made a small improvement. Dani Pedrosa, who is riding in serious pain, will not have to ride in qualifying one as his time from yesterday was enough for tenth.
