Dani Pedrosa undergoes surgery on right wrist

Dani Pedrosa has undergone surgery on the right wrist he injured in a crash at the start of the Argentina Grand Prix, and is in doubt for MotoGP's Texas outing next weekend. The Honda rider suffered a highside when he accelerated on a damp patch at Turn 13 having been forced wide by a charging Johann Zarco on the opening lap of last weekend's race at Termas de Rio Hondo. Pedrosa complained afterwards of pain in his right wrist, with checks in Barcelona revealing a fracture to the radius bone. The fracture was fixed with a titanium screw in an operation carried out by renowned rider surgeon Dr Xavier Mir and his team at the Catalan Institute of Traumatology and Sports Medicine at...
