Marc Marquez was fastest in a rain-hit FP2 as Dovizioso sunk to last

Marc Marquez dominated a weather-affected MotoGP FP2 in Argentina, while championship leader Andrea Dovizioso was last. The rain that fell at the end of the second Moto2 session had cleared for the start of FP2, with Marquez setting the pace with a 1:40.873s ahead of Aprilia's Scott Redding and KTM's Braldey Smith. However, further improvements were halted as the rain returned six minutes in. Several riders ventured out into the conditions over the next 10 minutes, with more joining the action at mid distance.
