Suzuki can now fight for wins, claims Marquez
Reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez believes Suzuki will be capable of challenging for wins and podiums in 2018, on the back of the manufacturer's strong performance on Friday in Qatar. Suzuki won a MotoGP race as recently as 2016, when Maverick Vinales triumphed at Silverstone, but the team then took a big step backwards last year as it had switched to an all-new line-up of Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins in 2017. But Suzuki - and Rins in particular - had a positive pre-season prior to 2018, and the Spaniard was third-quickest at the end of Friday at Qatar.
