– Jorge Lorenzo expressed relief after escaping from a heavy collision with Cal Crutchlow during first practice at Motegi that he feels could have left him "badly hurt".LCR Honda rider Crutchlow lost control of his bike on the approach to Turn 9 in wet conditions and slid into the side of Lorenzo's Ducati, sending both of them into the gravel.Lorenzo was visibly shaken by the incident and shook his head as he walked behind the barriers, with both men remarkably avoiding any injuries.
