Hector Barbera steps down to Moto2 with Pons

Avintia rider Héctor Barberá will step down to Moto2 next season, ending an eight-year spell in the premier class. Barberá moved up to MotoGP in 2010 with Aspar and has been with Avintia since 2013, aside from a two-race spell with the factory Ducati outfit, when he filled in for the injured Andrea Iannone.
