Marc Marquez beats Danilo Petrucci at Misano with last-lap pass

Honda rider Marc Marquez secured his fourth victory of the 2017 MotoGP season at Misano, to draw level with Andrea Dovizioso in the championship. Rain throughout the day meant conditions were wet and tricky for the San Marino Grand Prix, with Ducati’s Jorge Lorenzo storming away at the start, going from fifth to first. Pramac Ducati’s Danilo Petrucci took over the lead after Lorenzo crashed out on lap seven, having gradually picked his way up from eighth on the grid in the challenging early laps. Marquez shadowed him for most of the race and Petrucci was unable to escape. On the final lap, Marquez made a move into the first corner to snatch the lead away from Petrucci. He went...
