Rabat joins Avintia for 2018 campaign
– Tito Rabat will continue to compete in MotoGP next season after sealing a return to Avintia, the team confirmed on Thursday.Rabat, who raced for Avintia in the lower categories, captured the Moto2 title in 2014 before graduating to the premier class with Honda-affiliated Marc VDS in 2016.Rabat holds 18th place in this year's standings but Marc VDS opted to sign Moto2 riders Franco Morbidelli and Tom Lüthi for next season, leaving Rabat without a seat.However, Rabat has now secured a 2018 seat with Avintia, and will compete aboard a 2017-spec Ducati Desmosedici."I'm very happy to sign with Reale Avintia Racing and to race with Ducati in 2018," said Rabat."I think we...
