Marc Marquez beats Valentino Rossi to Czech GP pole position

Marc Marquez will start the Czech Republic Grand Prix from pole position after beating Yamaha rival Valentino Rossi by a mere 0.092 of a second. Early qualifying leader Dani Pedrosa will start third, putting two Honda bikes on the front row. The Spaniard had held provisional pole before Rossi and then Marquez improved, dropping Pedrosa to third, with just over a tenth between him and the top spot. The second row consists of Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso, who followed his Friday performance with a strong result in qualifying to start fourth ahead of LCR Honda rider Cal Crutchlow and the second Ducati of Jorge Lorenzo, who had an earlier lap disallowed.
