Márquez bags eighth straight Germany pole

– Reigning World Champion Marc Márquez maintained his imperious German Grand Prix record as he claimed pole position in wet conditions at the Sachsenring.Márquez moved to the front with a lap of 1:27.443 before improving to a 1:27.302, 0.160s clear of Pramac's Danilo Petrucci.It is Márquez's eighth straight pole at the venue across all three categories, stretching back to 2010.Márquez took pole position despite an early clash with Yamaha rival Maverick Viñales, who claimed only 11th in the wet session.Dani Pedrosa will round out the front row of the grid for Repsol Honda, in front of LCR's Cal Crutchlow and home favourite Jonas Folger, who emerged as the quickest Yamaha...
