Rossi ends win drought in Assen thriller
– Valentino Rossi captured his first MotoGP victory in over a year as he fended off Danilo Petrucci during a thrilling Dutch Grand Prix at a drizzly Assen.Rossi controlled much of the race before light rain during the closing stages brought Pramac's Danilo Petrucci into contention, and the Italian duo swapped positions several times.Rossi ultimately snatched back the lead before holding on by just 0.065s, crossing the line at the front of the pack for the first time since last year's Catalan Grand Prix.Marc Márquez prevailed in a close fight for third with Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso, though the Ducati rider moved into the lead of the standings after Maverick Viñales crashed...
