Petrucci heads disrupted FP1 at Assen
– Pramac's Danilo Petrucci led the way during a closely-contested delayed first practice session for the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen.The session was only a few minutes old when Andrea Dovizioso suffered a suspected engine failure, leading to oil being split onto the track surface.Jorge Lorenzo and Jonas Folger both crashed, with the Tech 3 rider visiting the medical centre as a precaution, and the session was consequently red-flagged for almost half an hour, as cement dust was laid.Times tumbled once the session resumed, with Petrucci ultimately vaulting to the front during the final stages, before he pulled off the circuit with smoke trailing from his bike.Petrucci's lap of 1:34.680...
