Viñales, Rossi split over new chassis
– Yamaha riders Maverick Viñales and Valentino Rossi offered contrasting opinions after testing the manufacturer's new chassis at Jerez on Monday.Following last weekend's race, in which Viñales and Rossi struggled to sixth and 10th, MotoGP teams stayed on at the Spanish venue for an extra day of testing.Viñales, on the updated YZR-M1, set the pace with a 1:38.635, two-thousandths clear of Marc Márquez, as Sunday's winner, Dani Pedrosa, completed the top three."The new chassis works quite well," declared Viñales."We compared the same set-up from [the race] with the same tyres, to see if it was working good.
