MotoGP Valencia: Redding concedes GP17 race to Petrucci

Britain’s Scott Redding has conceded the race for a Desmosedici GP17 to team-mate Danilo Petrucci as the points gap is too much to bridge with only one race left. At the Brno round, Redding, Petrucci and Octo Pramac team boss Francesco Guidotti talked about ways to apportion the single 2017 bike headed for the team and it was agreed that whoever had the most points at season end would ride it. “I really could have done without the result in Malaysia.
