Moto2: Final lunge at title glory for Lowes

Sam Lowes is ready to make a final lunge for Moto2 title glory this weekend, when the series moves to Asia for the first of three back-to-back weekends of action in Japan, Australia and Malaysia. The chances of lifting the crown looked all but lost for the Federal Oil Gresini rider before his 2017 graduation to the premiere class after a series of disastrous weekends that saw him fail to take home any points while rivals Alex Rins and Johann Zarco triumphed. But, after a stunning flag-to-flag victory at Aragon last time out, the Lincolnshire racer is going into this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix brimming with confidence that he thinks he can translate into further success.
