MotoGP: Aprilia timing is perfect for Lowes
Moto2 title contender Sam Lowes has admitted that as the factory Aprilia squad continue to improve in MotoGP, his switch to them for the 2017 season couldn’t be coming at a better time. Joining up with the team just as they find their form with the RS-GP machine, Lowes’ recent tests on the bike have him excited for what could be in the future. “The new Aprilia chassis is fantastic! The bike has improved a lot. You have to remember it was a new bike this year, and it was always going to take a while to get there, but they’re doing an amazing job. “For me it’s the perfect time to go. Michelin have had a year to learn, the bike is coming on, and I’m really looking forward to it...
